Last year I bought my car at the Ellerslie Car Market: http://www.carfair.co.nz It's on every Sunday from 9am to 12noon. Visited the car market twice and found a nice Honda Accord for $1900 :-) Drove it 6 months and sold it privately. If you need a cheap car, don't miss the Ellerslie car market.
